Remote Technical Records Review

Detailed review of aircraft, engine, APU and component records to identify missing documentation, inconsistencies and items requiring further substantiation.

Agree the scope

We establish the review requirements, deliverables, priorities and reporting arrangements with your technical team. Responsibilities for follow-up, acceptance and final sign-off are agreed at the outset.

Access and organise the records

We work through agreed document-sharing arrangements and assess the available records against the review scope. Initial gaps and dependencies are identified early.

Review and progress findings

We carry out the technical review, document findings and assess additional evidence as it becomes available. Where included in the scope, we coordinate records follow-up directly with the operator and other project parties.

Prepare the handover

We consolidate the review status and agreed final records set, with a clear record of resolved items and any remaining exceptions.

Remote records support can run alongside your on-site representative, giving the project dedicated records capacity while maintaining a consistent view of progress.

Northern Aviation is an independent technical consultancy led by Jokull Gudjonsson, with more than 20 years of aircraft transition experience, including over a decade working independently with aircraft lessors and technical teams.

That experience spans aircraft deliveries and redeliveries, repossessions, pre-purchase inspections, mid-lease audits and fleet inductions.

Our approach is grounded in the practical demands of transition projects: large volumes of documentation, changing submissions, incomplete evidence and delivery deadlines. We focus on understanding what the records substantiate, making outstanding requirements clear and helping the project team progress them.

Clients work directly with the consultant responsible for the review, providing continuity from the initial assessment through to records handover.
